Introduction to the Chamber:
The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization of businesses representing industry, retail, service, professionals, and agriculture in partnership with tourism and government to further promote economic growth and quality of life in Wilmington. The strength of the Chamber lies in the active involvement of its membership. Both large and small businesses are represented and influence the direction of the organization.
Sponsoring community events and promoting tourism is an important role of the Chamber. The Chamber office organizes the volunteers necessary for events during the year.
The Chamber acts as a community information center. The Wilmington Chamber is a voice for business, devoted to strengthening the business community, and maintaining the exceptional characteristics of life here in Wilmington.
The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce encourages all residents of the Wilmington area to purchase products and services from our local business establishments. We acknowledge not all products and services are available locally, however many are. Every local purchase you make generates tax revenue that allows for improvements in our community.
