Kathy Noel (right), the friendly cook at Nelly’s on Route 66, is presented with the Wilmington Chamber’s Employee of the Month trophy for October by Chamber ambassador Debbie Rutherford of Kerr Management Consultants. Noel has been cooking commercially for 35 years including nine years at Nelly’s. She said she is very proud that Nelly’s makes most all of their food from scratch, the staff are all team players and loves it when Route 66 visitors come in and compliment about the food. Noel was nominated by a customer who noted that “Kathy Noel’s cooking makes so many tummies happy and full.”
