The Wilmington Chamber’s Employee of the Month trophy is presented to Kathleen Schleuning (right) who works the drive up window and counter at McDonald’s of Wilmington. Chamber president Steve Evans, owner of Spins and Needles, presents the trophy to Kathleen noting the customer who nominated her said she is friendly every morning and keeps the drive-thru line moving. Kathleen has worked at McDonald’s four years and loves the people she works with. “My customers are wonderful too,” she said. Kathleen typically works the drive-thru 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, hours she says are great.
