The Employee of the Month trophy was awarded to Dean Knapp at Bellettini Foods in Wilmington. Presenting the trophy was Wilmington Chamber of Commerce ambassador Dee Yehling (left), owner of The Corner Tap. Dean, whose father Fred was also a butcher, said he loves working at the family-owned grocery store. “Many years ago I left for what I thought was bigger and better things, only to learn that the cold atmosphere of large corporate grocery store chains was not for me,” Knapp said. He’s glad to be back at Bellettini’s as part of a crew of four guys with over 150 years of combined experience.
