The Wilmington Chamber’s Employee of the Month trophy was recently presented to Carol Roman (left), a helpful clerk at CVS Pharmacy of Wilmington. Chamber ambassador Stefany Gumm of Grundy Bank presents the trophy to Roman noting that she has been as asset to the community for 45 years. That’s how long Roman has served the public with a smile and hello. When she started it was Hunt’s Pharmacy, then became Doc’s Drugs and later CVS. “She seems to know everyone that comes into the store and their children and also their grandchildren,” her nomination noted. “She is always helpful.”
