Eligibility Requirements

1. Chamber Membership

   Nominees must be currently affiliated with a Chamber of Commerce member organization, either as an owner, employee, volunteer, or board member. This affiliation ensures that the award goes to those actively involved in Wilmington’s business or non-profit ecosystem. The nominee’s member organization must be current member of the Chamber at the time of nomination.

2. Active Community Involvement

   The candidate should have a strong presence in Wilmington, showing an ongoing commitment to local development or support. This could involve direct service through a non-profit, leadership in a business that contributes to the local economy, or participation in civic initiatives that benefit the Wilmington community.

3. Reputation of Integrity

   Candidates are expected to be individuals of good character with a solid local reputation in the Wilmington area.
